He also served on the Executive Board of the East Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and as a respected instructor for key programs such as the Fuerza Local Business Accelerator, Quick Start to Success Entrepreneurial Program, and the Dream Builder Program at the Mexican Consulate in Phoenix.

David has received numerous awards and accolades for his leadership and impact, including the 2013 Success Award from the Small Business Development Centers of Arizona, 2015 MAHC City of Mesa Business/Leader Award, AZ Central’s Top 35 Under 35 Entrepreneurs (2016), and the United Food Bank Christmas in July Business Challenge (2017). In 2022, he was honored with multiple awards from Premios Nosotros, including Latino Standout Entrepreneur, Latino Standout Leader, and recognition for his nonprofit work with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He was also named to the Phoenix Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 and received statewide recognition with two awards for his leadership as president of Arizona’s only Spanish speaking BNI chapter.

Marcos is a distinguished attorney and community leader based in Phoenix, Arizona, known for his dedication to the Latino community and his advocacy for small businesses.

With a career defined by service, leadership, and excellence, he has become a key figure in Arizona’s legal and business sectors.

He currently serves as Associate General Counsel at Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. (CPLC), providing expert legal counsel in litigation, regulatory compliance, and contract management. His role is essential in ensuring the organization’s legal and structural integrity, working closely with executive leadership and various departments.

Before joining CPLC, Marcos achieved a major milestone in his career by becoming the youngest partner and shareholder at the prestigious law firm Tiffany & Bosco.

His talent and leadership were further recognized in 2021 when he was named to the

Phoenix Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list—an honor given to professionals making a significant impact in their communities.

Beyond his legal career, Marcos is the co-founder of Escudo Empresarial, Arizona’s only fully bilingual business consulting and legal advisory firm, dedicated to protecting and strengthening small businesses.
